Wine Reviews & Ratings

My wine reviews and ratings will help make buying wine in the Twin Cities less of a guessing game and more rewarding to you the consumer.  My rating system uses a concrete system to determine the quality of a wine.  Since I don't represent a wine shop, winery, or distributor I give you an independent, unbiased perspective on wines in the Twin Cities.

Rating Sheet

Five Step Process

A Good Wine vs. A Bad Wine

The following symbols ($) will help identify the approximate price of each wine at a wine shop:

Under $10- $

$11 to $20- $$

$21 to $35- $$$

$36 to $60- $$$$

Over $60- $$$$$

Try some of the wines that I have reviewed and see if they match up with your palate.  All of my wine tastings are going to feature highly rated wines.

Wineglas is the only true wine reviewer in the Twin Cities.  You won't find a bunch of advertising on my web site for $5 bottles of swill.

Price does not determine quality.  I get a lot of people rave about Silver Oak but I have wines that are better at a fourth of the price.
