2007 Neyers Chardonnay $24.97

Color:  Medium gold

Nose:  Mineral, toast, apple

Taste:  Nice mineral based wine with a touch of toast and fruit

Finish:  Very consistent and not the oak monster of some Cali Chard's

Evaluation:  Well made 90 points

2006 Rossler Red Label Sonoma County Pinot Noir $18.97

Color:  Light purple

Nose:  Floral, strawberry, mineral

Taste:  Nice vibrant wine with floral, mineral, strawberry

Finish:  Satisfying and shows good acidity

Evaluation:  My new under $20 Pinot Noir 90 points

Color: Dark purple

Nose:  Tobacco, mineral, cherry, floral

Taste:  Bright acid and fruit.  This is a food wine featuring cherry, plum, cigar box, cinnamon

Finish:  Medium and concentrated wine

Evaluation:  A bargain for quality Syrah from Washington 91 points

2004 Fattoria di Fèlsina Berardenga Chianti Classico Riserva $18

Color:  Dark red

Nose:  Fragrent with floral, perfume,

Taste:  Great acid with floral, earth, mineral, game, cherry

Finish:  Medium and concentrated wine.  The finish starts strong and is consistent for 20 seconds

Evaluation:  This is a great wine for under $20 90 points

2007 Beringer Alluvium Blanc $13.97

Color:  Light gold

Nose:  Mineral, grapefruit

Taste:  Not as intense as the 06 but tasty

Finish:  Grapefruit and mineral dominate

Evaluation:  A nice summer sipper that is well worth the money 87 points

Nose:  Spice

Taste:  Really bitter and off featuring a little spice

Finish:  Again bitter

Evaluation:  Pass 78 points

2006 Wine by Joe Oregon Pinot Noir $15.77

Color:  Light purple

Nose:  Spice, floral

Taste:  Very light wine without the bitterness featuring floral and spice

Finish:  Light and short

Evaluation:  Serve to someone who dislikes intense wines 85 points

2005 Altos Las Hormigas "Viña Hormigas" Mendoza Reserva Malbec $25.47

Color:  Dark purple

Nose:  spice, floral, fruits

Taste:  Good fruit with floral and spices

Finish:  Concentrated without the heavy tannins

Evaluation:  A nice Malbec 89 points

2007 II Bastardo Sangiovese $6.97

Color:  Medium purple

Nose:  Fragrent with floral and minerals

Taste:  A good balance of fruit and earth tones

Finish:  Medium and is balanced
