Not as good as a regular Minneapolis Wine Club Event when we do Bordeaux but solid overall.
The Private Minneapolis Wine Club is the best club in the state and we really care about wines.

Edina Country Club
Our annual CDP Tasting event which was the highlight of the season. A number of good CDP wines but the ones that did not show as well were not decanted properly. The drink and pour technique does not work well with CDP.
A small group of four of us got together to try some amazing higher end Barolo wines at Dave's House.
This was the most interesting tasting of the year. No one knew the vintage, origin, grape variety, etc. of any of the wines. It was really difficult to guess correctly and even after the revealing many of us did not believe it. A humbling experience.
White Burgundies & Domestic Pinot Noir
Six of us gathered at the second best tasting of the year at the Private Minneapolis Wine Club. As always the food and services was excellent and the conversation very stimulating. If you would like to attend send me an email and note all events start at $100 plus per person.
A group of nine members sampled blind through a variety of US Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The wine of the night for the group was the 2004 Betz Cabernet.
US Domestic Cabernets & Meritage Blends
Several wines showed poorly at this event as the pace was too fast and we did not have enough time to analyze the wines properly. My favorite domestic wine of all time the 2003 Quilceda Creek showed poorly to the previous bottling's.
A group of 14 wine enthusiasts gathered for this Bordeaux Wine Dinner. We sampled wines from 1989 to the amazing 2000 Vintage.
Six of us gathered at the Edina Country Club and it was a rocking time! I love the private room and the glassware is refreshing for the Twin Cities as no need to bring a bunch of stems. It was enjoyable to see the evolution of the wines over the night with the smaller group. Thanks to everyone for attending!
