Evaluation:  A good US S.B. for the money.  87 points

Color:  Medium yellow

Nose:  Pinneapple, pear, mild oak, mineral

Taste:  Pinneapple, pear, oak, mineral, vanilla

Finish:  Medium and balanced wine without the big oak taste

Evaluation:  Fruit forward wine that for the price is a knockout.  Ste. Michelle is America's best producer of Chardonnay for under $30.  91 points

2005 Mer Soleil Central Coast Chardonnay

Color: Medium gold

Nose:  Oak, mineral, apple, pear

Taste:  Rich and buttery with oak, mineral, apple, pear

Finish:  Mineral, buttery notes, apple on this medium finish

Evaluation:  Solid Cali Chard 90 points

2006 Burgans Rias Baixas Albarino $$

Color:  Clear

Nose:  Mineral, grapefruit

Taste:  Mineral, grapefruit and a little acidic

Finish:  Refreshing with a medium mineral finish

Evaluation:  Nice everday summer white.  83 points

2006 Dr. Loosen "Dr. L" Estate Riesling $$

Color:  Light gold

Nose:  Slate, honey

Taste:  Crisp, acidic, honey suckles, apple

Finish:  Medium with a nice balance to the wine.

Taste:  Elegant wine with tons of flavor featuring floral, oak, pear, apple pie, vanilla

Finish:  Long and enjoyable.  Floral, oak, pear, apple pie, vanilla

Evaluation: Kistler is one of the best producers of Chardonnays in the world.  93 points

Finish:  Medium and nice intensity

Evaluation:  Great value for under $15.  87 points

2004 Scramsburg Blanc de Blancs Sparkling Wine $$$

Color:  Light gold

Nose:  Pear, dough, and apple.  More intense then the Laurent

Taste:  Apple, pear, strong acidity, mineral, and lemon pie

Finish:  Medium and balanced.

Evaluation:  Solid Vintage Brut from California 89 points

Color:  Medium purple

Nose:  Truffles, mushrooms, mineral, oak, spices

Taste:  More earth tones then fruit

Finish:  Long with intense components

Evaluation:  A favorite at client events.  93 points

2002 Three Rivers Winery Walla Walla Syrah $$$

Color:  Black

Nose:  Forest floor, mushrooms, plum, black fruit

Taste:  Pine needles, mushrooms, plum, cherries, pepper

Finish:  Medium and super balanced

Evaluation:  A great value from Washington.  90 points

Color:  Dark purple

Nose:  Oak, plum, cherries

Taste:  Spice, oak, vanilla, floral

Finish:  Buttery and tannic with cherries, vanilla, floral Evaluation:  Solid for an 03 90 points

Taste:  Mouthful of cherry, blackberries, oak, spice, vanilla

Finish:  Medium with nice fruit, truffles, oak, vanilla, spice, floral

Evaluation:  Cellar or decant 4 hours.  A wonderful wine.  93 points SOLD OUT

2004 Emilio Moro Ribera del Duero $$$

Color:  Medium purple

Nose:  Oak, mineral, vanilla

Taste:  Oak, mineral, plum, raspberry, cherry, firm tannins

Finish:  Medium with a nice balance of earth and fruit

Evaluation:  Cellar.  This needs time.  Currently 87 points

2004 Numanthia-Termes Toro Termes $$$

Color:  Dark purple

Nose:  Big wine with Cherry, earth tones, plum

Taste:  Huge wine with medium tannins (decant this one) and cherry, mineral, plum, oak, violets, earthy tones

Finish:  Extremely long and balanced wine

Evaluation:  This is one of the better values out of Spain and should cellar for 10 plus years.  92 points SOLD OUT

2004 Andrew Rich Willamette Valley Pinot Noir $$$

Color:  Light purple

Nose:  Smoke, mineral, oak

Taste:  Smoke, mineral, vanilla, oak

Finish:  Medium with a little fruit infused into the earth dominated wine

Evaluation:  Not complex but a good value under $30.  87 points

2005 Boedecker Stewart Willamette Valley Pinot Noir $$$

Color:  Light purple

Nose:  Spice, raspberry, floral

Taste:  Raspberry, floral, sweet fruits, strawberries, oak

Finish:  Medium and complex wine that is balanced

Evaluation:  An excellent example of Pinot Noir that costs under $40.  92 points

2005 Melipal Mendoza Malbec $$

Color:  Dark purple

Taste:  Big with Rasberries, spice, earth, plums, clove

Taste:  Intense with blackberries, mineral, spices, raspberries, and earth

Finish:  LONG and super concentrated.  This is the wine you teach people about finish.

Evaluation:  The most popular wine served at a recent event.  93 points (SHOULD ARRIVE BY MAY 10)

Nose:  Cranberry, cedar, mineral

Taste:  Spice, mineral, cranberry, tobacco

Finish:  Big spiciness, mineral, cranberries

Evaluation:  Solid CDP for the money.  88 points

2005 Two Hands Lily's Garden Barossa Valley Shiraz $$$$

Color:  Dark purple

Nose:  Spice, Black pepper, plum

Taste:  Big and balance wine with black pepper, spice, oak, plum

Finish:  Medium and smooth with black pepper, plum, cherry

Evaluation:  A smooth wine with the key components of Shiraz.  92 points

2005 Las Rocas de San Alejandro Vinas Viejas Garnacha $$

Color:  Medium purple

Nose:  Intense with spice, oak, vanilla, and blueberries

Taste:  Spice, oak, vanilla, raspberries, blueberries, and coffee

Finish:  LONG and intense.  A balanced wine!

Evaluation:  Incredible value for under $20.  93 points SOLD OUT

2005 Sheridan Kamiakin Yakima Valley Merlot $$

Color:  Medium purple

Nose:  Big with spice, cherry, earth, and mineral

Taste:  Flavorful with spice, cherry, plum, mineral, and coffee

Finish:  Long and intense.  Needs some decanting time or a juicy steak.

Evaluation:  A wine that I help bring to Minnesota and are proud of it.  89 points

2006 Ayoub Willamette Valley Pinot Noir $$$$

Color:  Light purple

Nose:  Spice, violets, raspberry

Taste:  Spice, violets, crushed rock, crisp acidity, minerals, raspberry, black berry

Finish:  Big and long with violets, crushed rock, spice, minerals, raspberry, oak, cherries

Evaluation:  This is the best Oregon Pinot Noir I have tasted period!  Decant for four hours!  96 points

2006 Patricia Green Cellars Croft Vineyard Pinot Noir $$$

Color:  Light purple

Nose:  Spice, floral, earth

Taste:  Spice, earth, mild oak, earthy

Finish:  Medium and mellow tannic quality.  Earth dominated wine

Evaluation:  Very pleasant wine but not a great value.  86 points

2006 Marquis Philips Shiraz $$

Color:  Dark purple

Nose:  Blackberry, plum, spice, black pepper, crushed rock

Taste:  Blackberry, plum, spice, black pepper, crushed rock, flavor, tannins smooth

Finish:  Long and impressive.  Totally balanced wine with all of the above.

Evaluation:  Number one wine under $15 of all time.  93 points

2006 Stangeland Willamette Valley Pinot Noir $$$

Color:  Light purple

Nose:  Floral, spice, cherry, oak, wild mushrooms

Taste:  Spice, boysenberries, blueberries, oak, vanilla

Finish:  Medium with intense flavors and very pleasing to the palate.

Evaluation:  One of the best Pinot Noir's for the money from Oregon. This is as good as the 2004.  92 points
